Just Colds

Not going anywhere today was an excellent idea. Not only is the weather rotten, but we're both really miserable. We both had a 2-3 hour nap in the morning.then we used the marina courtesy van to head into town, Guntersville, AL. We had lunch (breakfast, really) and the on to Walmart for cold meds and a few other things.
Then back to the boat and sleep away the afternoon.
We're still planning on motoring tomorrow. We'll see...

  1. Sailing World magazine was interested in covering your expedition, but we now hear it is more likely to be the New England Journal of Medicine! Also, are you aware you need a pharmacy license to have that much medicine concentrated in one place? Oh, wait. You're in Alabama. You get the special Meth Lab waiver.

  2. I was hoping you could bring the full strength ephedrine back to Oregon when you come, Michael! WOW, hope you both get to feeling better soon. Im waiting anxiously for the next "catastrophe" story. (I say that with love since Michael and I seem to always experience them during the sailing year)

  3. Cheer up, crew. Warmer weather is on the way. In fact, Liz and I are planning to drive down in that general direction and try to find some next week. Best wishes for quick recoveries and excellent sailing.
